I'm 24 (gasp!) years old. I am a college grad currently working a 'real job' as well as my weekend job thats left over from college. I plan on attending grad school in California (CSUF) in the near future so right now i'm trying to save some money. I don't drink and i don't do drugs, i'd rather live my life knowing what is going on and remembering it later. I'm happy to be labelled straightedge. I'll go to the bar with my friends who drink but it sure gets old quickly! Working out and being healthy is important to me, i run and recently i'm into yoga/pilates combo classes. I think being skinny yet toned is hot.I can run 8 miles and still breathe at the end. I also snowboard BUT I love the summer and the beach and warm weather and swimming and being tan. I love ice cream and monkeys and pirates and pineapples and stars (oh my). "your mom" jokes still make me laugh. I shop non-stop at Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Greenwich Ave and any other stores that don't sell the same old thing. My middle name is Jacqueline. If i was a boy my parents were going to call me Edwin. I would have been beaten up frequently if that was my name. I don't know what i'd do without my green chucks and my low cut etnies. I have three dogs and too many siblings. I get my hair colored darker because naturally i'm a very light brunette/dark blonde but i don't think my natural color suits my greeny eyes. I want a tattoo. I abandoned my livejournal for two years. I like to call it a hiatus. I listen to punky/emo-ey/screamy/alternative music. I love the cure. I love death cab for cutie. I hate liars. I love honesty. I want you to make me laugh. I write. I will write a book one day. I love photography and painting. I love looking at art and being artistic. I think it makes the world go round. I have had my heart broken by the same person twice. I have expensive taste. I love Chanel and Marc Jacobs. I have a purse collection that grows constantly. My favorite words are quintessential and bubble. I like fashion but i don't like following the trends too closely. Chapstick is a girls best friend. I couldn't live without my black MAC eyeliner. I don't like going to see movies at the movie theater. I love renting movies and eating ice cream with friends, expecially on rainy days. Red bull is my drug of choice and I frequent starbucks for white chocolate mochas, peppermint hot chocolate and caffe vanilla fraps. I order with whole milk and whipped cream but I secretley count calories. I watch too many reality tv shows. I buy at least 8 magazines a month. I don't have a single subscription to one but if i did i'm sure it would save money. I have a scar on my cheek from putting the handlebar of my bike through my face. It makes me laugh when i see it in the mirror. I don't have a lot of friends who are girls but the ones i do are funny. I like funny people. Humor is my defense mechanism. Puddle-jumping should be an olympic sport. My room is painted kelly green. I love gerbera daisies, black nail polish and dr pepper. Gatorade x-factor berry and fruit punch is delicious but turns your whole mouth red. I wear spandex when i run and sweatpants at the gym. Boy shorts are the best underwear ever. I love putting new socks on. I could live on vegetarian lasagne and honey wheat pretzel sticks. I donate to the aspca. Needles terrify me and if i have to get a shot..i WILL pass out. I have a weird condition where i black out for no apparant reason. I have a chunk of my shoulder blade missing from back surgery. It hurts all the time. I like cuddling. Making out never gets old.I like chunky jewelery and carved wooden masks. Black and white photography of buildings makes me smile. I text message too much. I punctuate my text messages. My room is always messy. I speak enough german to have a decent conversation. I hate pumping gas. I hate scheduling oil changes but i love my car. Waxing it is strangely therapeutic. I have a mac. I still don't really know how to use it. I dropped it on the floor and the screen is broken but it works. I can sing...pretty well too! I am shy but you'd never believe it. I like the smell of gardenia candles and hugo cologne. I wear Tommy girl or Armani mania. Both are yummy. Sometimes i feel like i'm too much of a contradiction. My ipod is old school..it just plays music! I'm difficult but i mean well. I've become an insomniac recently. I always write thank-you notes. I sing in the car. Gwen Stefani is my idol. I'm British with American/British citizenship. I love to travel. I love going to shows. I listen to Billie Holiday if i'm trying to concentrate on something. I read the newspaper everyday. I try to be the best person i can be whilst staying true to myself; not everyone is okay with that. I know i could of got better grades but i was lazy. My grades were good enough though. I want to go to grad school for comparative literature. Learning makes you stronger. This summer i will sky dive and either complete a triatholon or marathon. When i doodle i draw balloons inside boxes and swirls. I can't possibly write without bic atlantis pens. I have two boxes of them in my desk at all times.t. I'm probably the worst seller at Jcrew but i try. I forget to tell the customers my name thats why. When i get all preppy for work i feel like i'm playing dressup. Even professers at Yale make spelling mistakes..i correct them and get paid for it. I like hot showers and snow ball fights. I can't bake cookies they always get too hard but i make primavera like it's my job. I like pizza hut pizza and i hate dominos. I love crab rangoons and sesame seed chicken.I'm the only one who eats the free white rice. I always wear huge sunglasses because it makes me feel famous. I could watch "Freddy got Fingered" over and over and over and over again. I miss the tom green show. I watch space ghost. Bjork scares me. California feels like home to me. I prefer vegetarian vegetable soup to regular vegetable soup (regular has beef stock in it) I could never not eat carbs. I always put my wallet in my back pocket which is soooooo unlady like. If i don't have work in the morning then Tyra, Dr Phil and Martha are my friends through breakfast and coffee. I love the chaos of NYC. It isn't anything like L.A but i like L.A too. I forget to take my vitamins. I wear glasses to drive and read. I say "welcome to my life" too much. I laugh at my own jokes. I bounce my checking account way too much but i still have good credit. I love ice hockey games and i join in all the cheesy chants. I lose my car keys everyday at some point. I'm scared of fire but i've got much better about it. I check my closet before i go to bed. I'm afraid of the dark. I have a horrible sense of direction. I talk on my cell phone while i drive at least once a day. I've never got a speeding ticket but i've had two written warnings. I once ran over a chipmunk and i cried. I also hit a squirrel one day on route 9 but it must of been suicidal because what is a squirrel doing on route 9? I don't like steak because it's too meaty. My first car was a ford escort. Long live the 'scort. I like buffalo chicken but i don't like other spicy foods. I have my belly button pierced. It didn't hurt. I met the original willy wonka on vacation once. The scariest thing that ever happened to me was that i got attacked by a monkey in St.Kitts. I've seen the parthenon, the pyramids and i've hiked in a rainforest. I want an old school typewriter. I play a mean game of chess and i talk in my sleep. I like boys with tattoos and nice hair and gorgeous eyes. A professor once told me that since he thinks i'm a talented writer that i should never date an artist because we would clash and i'd get my heart broken. I didn't listen. I probably should have. I talked to a stranger for 4 hours last time i took a flight. We played the question game. He was a graphic designer. That was ironic. We liked the same flavor gum. I always buy orbit in the green wrapper. I play the guitar. I play the piano. I like fried shrimp. I like hugs when i greet people. My car smells like peachy peach. I have change in the bottom of my purse all the time. I don't like Christmas songs. English chocolate is far superior to American chocolate. I wash my hands a lot. I set the sleep timer on my tv when i go to bed at night. I mean what i say. My favorite poem is called "when we two parted" by Lord Byron. My favorite artist is Matisse. I don't like take offs and landings but i'm okay with the rest of the flight. My favorite color is green but my car is blue. I want to surf sometime. I check Toothpastefordinner.com every day because it makes me laugh hysterically. I enjoy weird post-modernist literature. I used to be into dance and drama classes before i moved here. I'm amazed that snapple apple tastes like apples. It ruined apple juice for me. I miss buying new notebooks at the start of the semester. I really enjoy shopping for office supplies. I once ran over my cd holder when it fell out of my car. I never go on the treadmills that are infront of the tv's that have subtitles because i feel like i have to read them and it gives me a headache. The burger king "King" terrifies me. I think they should sell samoa girl scout cookie ice cream year round. I always get the same thing at coldstone. I still didn't decide what i want to do "when i grow up" I'm going to own a sweet coffee shop one day though. You should stop by...i make a mean ice cream sundae. When the directions said "mini-biography" i laughed in it's face...
